Bhoothnath is one of the most expected movies of Amitabh.  Movie begins with a scene where a couple comes to stay at Nath Villa in Goa and they are scared away by Bhoothnath (Amitabh). Later Aditya Sharma (SRK), Anjali Sharma (Juhi Chawla) and their son Banku (Aman Siddiqui) comes to Nath Villa. Aditya works for a cruise liner and will not be at home for days together. So Anjali and Banku are left alone in the house. As usual Bhoothnath tries to scare Banku. But Banku sees Bhoothnath as angel since as per him mom ‘Only Angels exist and not Ghosts’. Eventually Bhoothnath and Banku became good friends. Though Anjali does not believe in Banku’s Angel stories, one day he appears before her too. Bhoothnath tells his sad tale to Anjali. His son lives in US who is interested only in selling of the Nath Villa where as Bhoonath cannot allow that since his memories lie there. He decides that he will allow only Banku and family to stay there. Aditya reach home hearing the stories and a pandit advises him to do poojas for the Bhoothnath’s Mukthi. What happens to Bhoothnath, his son, Banku and his family forms the rest of the story. The climax could be easily guessed by a normal movie goer. Amitabh plays Bhoothnath as if he is born for it. He is amazing. So does child artist Aman Siddiqui. Juhi is terrific as smart and bit naughty modern mom. There is a lot of acting left in Juhi. SRK with his small role adds a lot of value to the movie. His conversations with Juhi are excellent and interesting. Talented  Rajpal Yadav is wasted in the movie with the role of Antony though he manages to provide few laughs. First half of the movie is fun to watch, especially for children. The songs are also shot for children. The second half is also fun but become emotional by end and dragging at times. But no part of the movie is boring. It’s a real fun watch especially for children.
